The Site
The site is located to the south of Chester Road, Sandiway across three parcels of land between Pool Lane and Kennel Lane, separated by Dalefords Lane and Cockpit Lane. The site would represent a sustainable extension to the existing built-up area of Sandiway and well-related to its surrounding landscape and character. The site is located outside of the Green Belt, within the Open Countryside. It is also in walking distance of key services and facilities.
The site is within a five-minute walk of local bus stops, restaurants, and other amenities. It is also within ten minutes’ walking distance of public transport, shops, primary schools, and Blakemere Village. Sandiway and Cuddington railway station is a 15-minute walk from the site, providing further connections into Chester and the wider area. The site also benefits from walks into the surrounding countryside using existing Public Rights of Way.
Land Parcels and Delivery
The proposals are being brought forward by David Wilson Homes and Redrow, with the land being under separate control:

While two separate planning applications will be submitted, the proposals have been designed under a co-ordinated masterplan to ensure a cohesive and well-integrated community.
